Welcome to Worship – Gordon Coppoc

Hymn of Praise Come, Christians, Join to Sing

(Verse 1) Come, Christians, join to sing Alleluia! Amen!
Loud praise to Christ our King; Alleluia! Amen!
Let all, with heart and voice, before his throne rejoice;
Praise is his gracious choice; Alleluia! Amen!

(Verse 2) Come, lift your hearts on high, Alleluia! Amen!
Let praises fill the sky; Alleluia! Amen!
Christ is our Guide and Friend; to us he’ll condescend;
His love shall never end: Alleluia! Amen!

Call to Worship* (inspired by Hebrews 10:19-22) – Gordon Coppoc

We gather together to worship,
knowing that God is already here among us;
knowing that there is nothing that separates us
from the presence of our Lord.
Wherever we are, wherever we go,
God is near.
So let us enter into this service of worship
with confidence and hope,
knowing that God is already with us,
and that He stands eager to meet us
and bless us with His love.

Hymn of Reflection – Take My Life and Let It Be

(Verse 1) Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee;
Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of thy love,
At the impulse of thy love.

(Verse 2) Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for thee;
Take my voice and let me sing always, only for my King,
Always, only for my King.

(Verse 4) Take my love, my God, I pour at thy feet its treasure store;
Take myself and I will be ever, only, all for thee,
Ever, only, all for thee.

Hymn of Faith – Great is Thy Faithfulness

(Verse 1) Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with thee;
Thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not;
As thou has been thou forever wilt be.
(Refrain) Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning, new mercies I see;
All I have needed thy hand hath provided-
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

(Verse 2) Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
(Refrain) Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness,
Morning by morning, new mercies I see;
All I have needed thy hand hath provided-
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
